Trying to decide between a Cane Corso Mastiff and a Boxer.

Obviously both larger dogs, but with very, very different personalities

Has anyone here had any experience with either?

Get a pound puppy.
Any one would certainly be all you want in a pup.

I'd rather a Cane Corso. I don't really like Boxers too much.

Came corso. Friend of mine has one named Cujo and another named Capone. Badass dogs.

Get a cat. No baths, no walks, it'll even kill it's own food.

I think I'd rather wear an Auburn shirt.

If the main thing reason you want a dog is because it is badass, you shouldn't own a dog.

I'd get a pit bull. They are excellent with children, plus you can recoup your costs by entering him into dogfights and making a little cash. Pet + revenue = win.

Tough looking softies. Loyal, gentle, and calm. Very intelligent.

Look into Am Staffs (American Staffordshire Terrier) as well. Awesome, smart, loyal family dog.

Don't know how similar a Corso Mastiff is to a Bull Mastiff, but if they are alike be ready to be hounded for attention. If you make the mistake of petting his head in the morning, he will be in your crotch the rest of the day.
