Trees are made of wood. Wood does NOT conduct electricity.

Your house is made of wood. Does your house conduct electricity?

If wood is green or wet, it definitely can serve as a conductor of electricity due to the moisture content.

Electricity: What you don't know can kill you
quote:

"Wood doesn't conduct electricity. This one isn't actually a myth — wood is, in fact, nonconductive. However, water does conduct electricity, and wood that is wet or damp can still pose a risk."

quote:

human bodies are 70 percent water, they conduct electricity very well.

quote:

Soil, especially wet soil, can conduct electricity, creating a shock hazard to anyone approaching the line.

Anything that is wet or damp can still pose a risk.

It's from a famous Monty Python skit.

It is hanging on top of house and the power line wires
If it's on the line from the pole to your house I don't think Entergy will come out, or if they do you will be charged.

Touch the wire to your tongue like a 9v battery.
