The one that sits at the BTR airport.

Anybody else hear this? If so, have any details?

A picture of the interior makes it a dumb rumor?

How about 49k hours on the air frame. 14k on the engine rebuild, and 3 million in low hour engine hush kits on it.

And the waste tanks have been full since it was grounded.

31 years old, too.

Here's a pic of the outside. The Hornets must have used it for a tax write off because they donated it to BRCC to use in their aircraft mechanics courses.

Bet you could get a couple of buck for the aluminum.

What does that have to do with converting it to a burger joint?

The real money is in the hush kits and life support.

I don't want anyone from BRCC to have worked on an aircraft I am on

Because are you going to drop over a million for a shitty tube which requires an equal amount in renovations? Which has leaking hydraulics which will require hazmat?

I'm not, and remember I admitted what I heard was rumor and simply asked if anybody else had heard the same thing.

There have been restaurant and even hotel conversions of 727's so this rumor isn't straight out of lala land

But when I provide you with reasons why this won't happen you don't listen

Hate to break it to you but MIT engineers aren't working on any plane you get into.

So you haven't heard the rumors is what you're ultimately trying to say? Got it.

Why is it parked on that outer lot at BTR? Is it used for training emergency response crews?

It's too heavy for the pads and has to be moved a little. It is literally sinking through the concrete.
