East bound out of NOLA just past the I-55 interchange is also closed. The I10/12 corridor is going to be a hoot today.

It's Heading east toward Nola at the Laplace exit/I-55 to clarify. And thank goodness for traffic apps. I hit it before the police were making you exit. I almost got stuck in the muck.

Is that 2 mile stretch of Eastbound I-10 from 209 to the 'hump and bend' at the Spillway one of the most common spots for accidents?
I drive it daily and it's the most stressful(requires most focus and awareness) stretch of my commute . Am I on to something here that y'all are well-aware of, or am I just a pussy?
