And then you've got people bitching here about what the cops are receiving in benefits. LINK

What a fricking joke. Seriously, who'd work a beat in hell for any amount of money?

What's funny is we keep hearing about the hell that these cops work in, yet violent crime and property crime has been rapidly declining for years.

Meanwhile, cops still like to shoot shite up and beat the frick out of people. Not all of them, or even close, but the war-zone, this is war bullshite is tiresome.

yeah It was the OFFICERS fault. His father got in trouble, then was killed. SOOO It was Jrs job to take up the family business... Getting in trouble with the law. BUT he is a good kid..
Shoots a cop = good person

Think the family is plum freaking retarded( sorry to the handicapped community no disrespect intended). I understand in SOME instances the police can be over zealous, but a witness said they told him to put it down and HE FIRED....Good guy my butt
The family can go support him in court where he will receive the GUILTY verdict. Dont even waste an attorney's time

The militarization of the police in their overzealous attempt to prosecute the failed war on drugs has spilled over and undermined their ability to police in other areas. Legalize drugs, put money into drug use prevention and treat it as a health problem instead of throwing people in prison and throwing away the key. The police can then focus on pursuing violent criminals and develop a more positive rapport with the community they are policing.
