What the frick are you talking about? It was real and some damned intense physical competition. Break Through and Conquer was my favorite. Loved when a gifted athlete would smoke the Gladiators. Their egos were clearly fricked when that happened.

My father raised German Shepherds when I was a kid, and I named them all after Gladiators. Hawk was the best dog we ever owned, he was a champ.
