Since we live in Lewzianer (only a weirdo would want to live anywhere else, right?) ours is on mostly year round and we're in NE LA.

Even on days where we use the heat, I usually end up turning the ac on as well later on in the day.

That is really bad. The whole warm air rising, cold air sinking deal is working against you. I reccomend getting an HVAC guy over there to fix it.
