Have you or anyone you know actually cried over the death of a celebrity?

I’ve been bummed by several celebrity deaths. Hendrix, Paul Newman, Reagan to name a few. But I’ve never cried about it. I don’t get that. People you don’t know personally and you’re crying about it?

Been sad about celebrity deaths, sure. But I’ve never cried about it, I don’t know them personally.

Robin Williams was a little tough to digest when it happened. It was like your funny best friend who was successful kills himself and you wonder if you were missing the warning signs.

A little bit tough when Tony Bourdain died under similar circumstances.

I remember about 1/4 of America literally crying when Elvis died.

I’d cry if I had to watch any of those movies

I can't recall doing so but I think I got misty eyed when larry munson died. I remember my dad crying when George Harrison died.

I don't think it's as weird as you're trying to make it sound. In the case of my dad for instance, the beatles were one of the first musical groups he fell in love with as a youngster and was there growing up in real time along with the band. They were a huge part of his life and he loved the hell out of them as I'm sure most people his age did. I can see why it'd feel like a part of your childhood/life ends when someone like that passes.

Cried, no. But I was bummed to hear about Anthony Bourdain. I loved his work.

Yes! Hated when I heard that. Stared at the tv with my mouth open in shock and was totally bummed about it. But cried? NO!!!

this one... it definitely didn't help that I was tanked after tailgating all day, but I'm sure I was quite ridiculous looking (more so than usual)
