That was fake.

I've seen tons of verbal abuse to airline gate agents and flight attendants.

In 2011 Norfolk, Virginia’s The Generic Theater presented “a thrilling stage adaptation” of the Stephen King novel Misery.

As part of the promotional festivities one of their actresses went to the local Barnes and Noble for a little publicity stunt.

‘Crazy Chick Flips Out in Barnes & Noble’ is how they titled it and what we get is a “Misery” infused encounter with an unsuspecting (?) employee.

The actress is channeling the character Annie Wilkes (think Kathy Bates in the film version) from the novel and is asking after a novel by Paul Sheldon, who is the protagonist in Misery.

The closest I ever came to cursing out an employee was the last time I was at the Superdome for a Saints game. As I was leaving I had just passed up the bathroom by about 15-20 ft about by where escalators start when I decided it would be a good idea to pee before I left. I turned around go back to the bathroom when one of the ushers stood in front of me and told me I wasn't allowed to go back. I told him all I had to do was use the restroom. He said I wasn't allowed. I looked at him like he was stupid and said, "that's fricking stupid." It wasn't worth pushing past him though, so i just left and looked for a port o pot when i got out of the dome.

I still think it's stupid. There were still thousands of people around, some of which were using the bathroom on the way out. It was at most a minute after the end of the game. What if I had left my wallet, or jacket, or something at the seat? Would I not be allowed to go back and get it? frick that guy. And frick that rule if it is even really a rule.

Anyway, I usually don't get mad at employees. Just saying that one curse word to one that one time is the closest I have ever come to cursing one out. Mistakes happen and nothing usually gets solved by being ugly.

I always assumed people read most of a thread before responding, but with the number of people that have posted this, I must be wrong. It's been mentioned multiple times that she was doing a scene from a movie.

you give someone an ounce of power, they will take it and run with it.

I once had it out with a Papa Johns pizza delivery driver.

He told me he was going to pee in my pool. Had me so upset that I threw Papa Johns garlic sauce all over him and called his manager.

Totally fake. She's doing a bit about Stephen King's Misery book.... (#1 fan, obsessive, she can't wait), it's very obvious, and pretty funny Imo

I did too. I bet we could share some stories. People would freak the hell out over simple things.

I used to work on campus at a Veterans Benefit Certification center. Some Vets could be outright dickheads.

I use to work in a rent to own furniture store, and have seen it several times. Been involved several times. Kind of par for the course in that industry.
