I got lost at the Jefferson Memorial on the silly 8th grade trip. Walked my arse back to the bus, old black bus driver smoking a 'Port said to me, 'Mayne, that old white-haired lady gon be pissed wiff you.' Class looked for me for about 3 hours before going back to the bus. Punishment was to spend the entire next day with the 20-something, kind of attractive algebra teacher. Meh.

didn't call into Journey Management after a 16 hour drive. fell asleep for 13 hours and my employers dispatched state police to look for me in ditches along the route. I woke up to 37 missed calls.

About 5 years ago I was in cali and I stopped by one of those road side grocery stands to pick up a bag of fresh picked fruit and met a very large man named Paco who had was running it that day. He dint speak any English but we had Zero probs communicating in the portapotty about a half mile up the road where I picked his fruit for the 1st time in his whole life. 
I ended up driving him to Vegas where I taught him how to put on lipstick and walk in heels like a real fancy lady. I was gone 4 like only 3 or 4 days but could have stayed longer if my bae didn't blow up my phone erry couple hours aksing where his oranges were. I never saw Paco again.

Was outside a bar in the Quarter, super drunk, taking a breather, minding my own business and a fight breaks out near me. Cops throw everyone into the wagon including me.

When i was in high school my parents dropped me off at an ac/dc concert in nola and they we're going to pick me up at the front. But as luck would have it i got backstages passes after the show and i had no way of telling them since there were no cell phones for minors. And i was backstage after the show for like 2 hrs, my parents had the cops looking for me lol

Work was cancelled the week after Katrina. I couldn't take the heat/generator life so I went spend a few days with some friends in Lafayette.
Cell phones were down the whole time so my family didn't have a way to find me and I was such in a rush that I forgot to tell them where I was going.

One summer in college my parents left on a Friday for a convention my dad was involved with. Last thing they told me was "see you next Sunday". I understood the next week, not just 2 days later. That evening I took off with a friend to his fishing camp and that turned into a spur of the moment trip to Destin for the week. Drove back on the next Friday and went straight to the Strip. Immediately I had about 10 friends telling me how my parents were searching for me.
