Last night, sparks and flames shot out of Atlas Air flight 95, a Boeing 747-8 after it departed from Miami International Airport. The plane circled back and landed with no injuries.

Fix your title. Generally, you want your plane to catch flight all through the air.

Yeah, I'd be dead. The other passengers would beat me to death out of embarrassment over how much I was screaming.

At least it happened after takeoff and not further into the flight where they could have been too far from an airport to safely land.

You're in luck because it was a cargo plane apparently.

The general public only hears Boeing. They won't care (most won't know) that GE made the engine.

This could have also been a maintenance issue but there is already a recent perception that Boeing has gone to shite. This won't help.

The most likely culprit is actually Atlas Air. They’ve been cited before for shitty maintenance.

Hence a compressor stall because it’s fuel rich

Man, this shat right here. Please take the time to do just a little bit of research. First of all, the 747 is an incredible machine & Atlas is CARGO only. The engines aren’t made by Boeing. Most likely GE made those, which are 9/10 very reliable engines. Almost always when this happens, aircraft are able to land safely.

Interesting and it would make sense, they are flying those 747s all the time. I feel like they wouldnt want to cut corners though.

These aren't exactly good odds considering its an aircraft engine.
