we had last month?

Talking about limbs and such that people drug to the street. My neighborhood they actually came by and picked up the easy stuff but not the hard stuff.

I dont no. I was one of the lucky ones who just had a couple of small limbs. But i can imagine some people in my neighborhood are getting a little aggravated.

Jimbeam, I have a source of excellent oak trees that need splitting. I just don't have the equipment Nor have I done it before. You wanna go in together? He would basically give us the wood for free.

1 month is a breeze. After the 4/27/11 torandoes in Alabama it took 5 months for the downed trees and limbs to get picked up from my neighborhood in Hoover. Of course there was much worse damage to clean up all around North Alabama.

In the past 2 weeks the city has:

Put a giant rut in my yard with their garbage truck.

Refused to pick up the bulk (a giant empty cardboard box) on bulk days.

Missed the back of the garbage truck with my neighbors can (They didn't have an arm on the truck), left the trash that fell in the street, and the wind blew it all over everyone's yard.

So frick the city.

75 houses in my hood. Some were picked up same week as storm, some three weeks later and still a few who have not been picked up. Makes no sense.

Well this storm wasn't nearly as bad as that or a hurricane so the time tables aren't really comparable.

I'm off Bluebonnet/i-10 and my neighborhood still looks like a warzone.

By this time, I'd probably just get together with a bunch of neighbors and have one hell of a fire pit going.
