I'm just going to make a long story short, but it's a CSB,

Guy I know (I've beaten his arse before) was playing a scramble at NOCC. He had to go to a wedding but knew where the long drive contest hole was and left to go get dressed to leave for the wedding a couple of holes before. He put his tux pants on and his dress shoes, came back to the whole, hit the drive center cut and left to go to the wedding. He didn't even want the trophy, or prize money. Just left. He won and flicked ciggs in people's faces as he left the course, including a couple of old women and children.

Which course did you win it on, and what were the conditions? Also, what driver/shaft/grip did you have in the bag at the time.

TIA

we had a dallas weekend tour with about 20 guys for a couple years. we did a long drive and closest to pin. i rarely lost the long drive hole.

i had a TM R7 at the time, Mitsubishi SS shaft(came with club) and GP tour wrap grips i've always used since i was a kid.

I've won several "longest drive's" during tournaments, have used Callaway woods with most of them, starting with the early Fusion driver, and as tech changed, my driver of choice has changed. X-flex graphite shafts then, S-flex now, always with Golf Pride Tour Wrap grips, with 2 wraps of tape. Used early Titleist 384 Tour balata balls, now Pro V1

I saw Ryno carve, or fly I should say, a little baby fade 265 yds with a 4 iron at Sienna on that gimmicky little par 4 they have (back 9).

He was past the pin. Got up and down for bird.

I once won a straight drive contest. Tournament at Acadian Hills in Lafayette. Skied my drive, but it was right down the middle and landed right on the chalk just where the line began. Got a good driver as the prize.

From a CBD standpoint and real courses you usually hit 14 drives aka tee shots that aren't par 3's, I usually fly nerds on 13/14 of those opportunities, it's a real HiGh percentage for the 917 equipped with a Kuro Kage XT, most nerds can't get the shaft, maybe a fake one on eBay, but not the one Day, Rory, Scott and etc hit, it lays business if anyone is interested in an autograph and demo session let me know, my next stop is CCC Sunday before noon, Net and I will have a course destruction course, and if a baw with a covert shows up we will have a 220 left display to enjoy it in the 108 range.

Golf Inc. opened up in my home town. Longest drive on the simulator thing won a $100 gift card.

I gave it to my dad for his birthday.
