I'd like to go. Friend of mine who is a photographer went this summer. It's a lot like the Alaska Peninsula.

Depends. If you want to see the Northern Lights, I'd say anytime but summer. If you're wanting to hike and stuff, probably summer. You could probably visit in April or September and do both.

I've been but only for a few days and felt like I barely made a dent. A lot to see and do there if you love the outdoors.

Reykjavik has some really nice restaurants. The rest of the island's dining is good but limited. Lots of lamb and fish. Ate horse too once.
