I have never broken mine but have seen it several times. Some can walk on it and others can not. Depends on the severity of the fracture.

Could also be a torn meniscus. Go see an Orthopedic doctor if it does not improve. X-ray for the patella fracture. Would need a MRI to look at ligaments though.

Yes and there was no way in hell I could walk on it, but it was also a sprained ACL so maybe that had something to do with it.

Fractured my patella many years ago, and could walk on it. My injury included a skin wound that I mistakenly thought was the cause of my pain. Once my skin wound started healing and the pain didn't subside I went to my orthopedic doc. Doc wasn't too happy with me because the patella had started to heal and wasn't perfectly aligned.

Go get it checked

Fractured my petella in high school. All tendons and muscles were fine but my knee cap was fractured straight in half. Was put in a brace and crutches for about a month then another month or two of physical therapy so no surgery. Stopped my treatment before it was fully healed so I could get back to playing baseball and 8 years later scar tissue still gives me issues
