We had a premium beach front suite. Everything is first class all the way. The food was a little disappointing in that I prefer something more casual with a local flair and they were trying to be a fine dining establishment. Booze was top shelf but the beer is local. Stay away from the rum punch as it can sneak up on you quick.

The beach is a 10 out of 10 and the best part a out Galley Bay. Overall the place was a little stuffy for my tastes as I hated putting on pants every night for dinner after being in the sun all day. Give me a place I can go in shorts and flip flops.

One restaurant had an up charge and it was the best meal we had. Not having beach service was a PITA.

Antigua is a pretty big island compared to some. A lot of agriculture. It was nice but didn't have the charm of St. Martin, St. Johns, Anguilla. St. Martin Grand Case is awesome. Hope you have a good one.

Coco Bay Resort is awesome.

X2

Quiet resort. The island is very authentic and chill. I recommend doing a catamaran tour of the island.

Do the wadadli cats circumnavigation trip. You go all the way around the island and they feed you and let you snorkel

I bet you didn't pull up an injured 9ft nurse shark onto your sailboat.

English harbor is good for at least a day. It was originally the British fort and harbor for repairing sailing ships. A couple of pics from my trip.

The beaches and water were great, but all in all I had a better time in St. Lucia. We didn't get out as much to explore Antigua as I'd have liked, but it's definitely one of the more westernized islands in the region, for better or worse.

Stayed at a friend's place there a few years back in the Mill Reef Club. I believe they have rooms or little cabanas to rent. The golf course has some spectacular views. Place is pretty amazing. The beach at half moon bay was great also.

Looking there for Honeymoon in December. Any thoughts?

It depends on what you're looking for. If your main interest is rest and relaxation in a beautiful setting to enjoy your bride, then I would suggest picking something like St Lucia, Anguilla, or St John (USVI).

If yall are the type that would get bored with one spot, I would suggest taking 8-10 days, flying in one end of the Caribbean, and then island hopping, staying 2-2.5 days on several great islands, and finally flying out on the other end.

FWIW, the latter suggestion is what we will be doing the next time we return.

Congrats on the wedding, bud.

One more thing, December is actually the busiest season down there. So whatever you decide, you need to hustle and make your reservations.
