Has anyone been a victim of bullying or cyber bullying?

According to statistics
1 in 7 Students in Grades K-12 is either a bully or a victim of bullying.
It is estimated that 160,000 children miss school every day due to fear of attack or intimidation by other students. Source: National Education Association.
15% of all school absenteeism is directly related to fears of being bullied at school.
According to bullying statistics, 1 out of every 10 students who drops out of school does so because of repeated bullying.
I know the OT is above bullying and many were probably the actual bully. Seems we have cyberbullying on this site fairly often as well.

well this goes back to childhood and late 90s/early 00s internet, when i was just a guy

Looking up cyberbullying and court cases currently, if the statistics are correct it is actually kinda frightening the things people do/say via the internet.
Kids as young as 6/7 telling others to go and shoot themselves and hang themselves because the world would be better off without them.

i honestly believe that bullying, exclusion, rejection, inferiority, etc are crucial experiences to develop empathy
anyone can say "oh i care for everyone" in an ideal situation when it is easy. you don't really comprehend what somebody is going through unless you have a reference point. as with everything, extremist examples are often bad and rationality needs to be applied

Yes I was bullied in school. 5th grade. I got tired of it and broke the guys nose on the playground. I was never bullied again
