He aborts takeoff, not once, but TWICE. When is this guy going to give up flying? If he doesn't, you all may want to consider putting him in your celebrity death pool.

quote:

Harrison Ford had a bumpy ride down the runway at Santa Monica airport Friday ... after his jet malfunctioned.
Ford was piloting his twin engine private jet when he started to roll down the runway ... but had to abort. He circled back, tried it again, and aborted a second time.
This is the same runway from which the 74-year-old actor took off in 2 prior mishaps ... one where he crash-landed his vintage plane on a golf course after engine failure, and another when he landed at the John Wayne Airport on a taxiway instead of the runway.

How is this a mishap? Planes abort on takeoff quite often... you know... to avoid crashing...

His plane malfunctioned. Obviously not his fault. But I've flown over 200 times and not once has a plane malfunctioned where takeoff was aborted . The dude has not had the best of luck with flying

Were you flying on a commercial airline or piloting a vintage aircraft?

He's like 79, just let him fly/abort at will.

I know OP is a shitty poster, but let's not pretend that Harrison Ford hasn't had a seemingly large number of flying misfortunes in the recent past.

Sure. If it's just a minorish issue (oil pix slightly out of limits, rpm, temp, etc.) just taxi back and give it another go.

Was this a Cessna 680 aircraft - with you sitting in the left seat - along side a co-pilot with over 6,000 hours sitting in the right seat? Might just be TMZ getting some click bait shite out there - BTW private jets aborting is pretty common.

You can't be real. You're just a clever guy who is masquerading as the biggest douchebag of all time. No one. I mean, no one, could be as big of a tool as you make yourself out to be.
