WYRI?

The bike boasts an all-electric engine (shown) that can accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-95 kph) in four seconds. A lightweight aluminium frame surrounds the battery to keep the weight of the bike down and enable it to reach high speeds and have a decent range before needing to be charged

It's like an anti Harley. I'd ride it on a closed course.

Considering it's got the look of a sport bike and it's as quiet as a mouse, i'm going to say it won't.

Part of the reason you ride a bike is because of the cool sounds it makes. Electric vehicles are quieter than mice pissing on cotton balls.

Depending on the range and cost, maybe.

I'd have to have a pretty low cost to make it worthwhile compared to the 50-60 mpgs you can get on small cruisers.

I get 45 on my R6, and let's just say I don't ride it in an economical way

Sure, I'd ride it.

I could see the 130-mile range being a problem for most Harley owners though.

"Hey guys, I'd love to ride with you for the bulk meth deal, but I need to charge up for the next 14 hrs. Mind if I hop on the back of your bike, Bones?"

It's so common for cagers to not notice us as it is. Imagine how bad it would be without any sound. No thank you.

Is there really a demand for this? I mean, I'm not a rider but I'd imagine mpg isn't a huge complaint of riders.

I just found out about it today. I guess we'll have to see how it's received. But having said that, I'm pretty sure in the biker community, there's will be zero interest in this bike. Its the wrong body style and it offers a feature that nobody is wanting.

If riding bikes was really about feeling free on the open road then this bike would be just as good as any, but let's face it...Southpark was right.

There's no reason to ride unless people are looking at you.

How many years of riding do you base your judgement on?
