Never listened but have always heard good things about it. Any particular ones y'all recommend starting with?

The one about the Mongols is a personal favorite. I wasn't too familiar with them and learned quite a bit.

they're all excellent, imo, so it really don't matter where you start. I started with the Wrath of Khans and it remains my favorite series. Just finished up with King of Kings series a few nights ago, was excellent.

Anyway to download them to my phone/tablet? When I click download on the website it just starts trying to stream.

I just finished the 6 part series on WWI. I was hooked from the beginning.

They are all terrific. The epics/multi-parts are great and have great detail. Blueprint for Armageddon or Wrath of the Khans are my favorites of the later ones available. I'm planning to buy the 1-30 shows once I finish up the old Jocko Podcasts.

My recommendation is to start with the oldest one available for free, and work your way forward.

Depends on what period of history most interest you.

I highly recommend blueprint for Armageddon.

Wrath of the Khans is amazing

Ghosts of the Ostfront

Punic nightmare

Prophets of doom and Thor's angels are some great single episodes

Really you can listen to all of them and you won't be disappointed.

There is so much material on the American Civil War already though.

Give me the Crusades. Or the 30 years war. Or the Viking invasions.

Downloaded Armageddon 1. Thanks for this. Perfect for a rainy day and don't have to watch Kickin' It with the kids.
