Hard cider, hard lemonade, hard grape soda

Who the hell drinks this stuff?
I get that hard cider is "in" right now, but I can't say that I've ever been at a bar and seen people drinking it, or been at a get-together and had one of my bros show up with a sixer of Strongbow or Angry Orchard.

People that consider Michelob Ultra to be the "hard stuff".
I tried that Hard Root Beer stuff once. It isn't beer and it isn't root beer. It is something that was created in a lab, by someone with no soul.

Woodchuck cider is amazing, sorry you're not smart enough to get your beer and daily serving of fruit at the same time.

Ive had a mikes hard lemonade from my neighbor before, actually not too bad. But yea I get your point, don't recall seeing anyone in a bar drinking that stuff.

craft cider is pretty huge in the areas where people can actually grow apples

In general, yes.
But I recently went to a few pubs in NE on business, and the cider there is legit. Drinks more like a real beer and has so much substance it's cloudy.

I had some stuff when I went on a brewery trip to Denver from C Squared, it was delicious.

I used to brew hard apple cider and a lemon wine. The cider always sucked but the lemon wine was pretty good on a hot day.

We also didn't hang out at the fraternity house with a keg of Angry Orchard. I didn't even know it existed at the time.
