Kip got up and gave a little talk at First Methodist on mothers day a few years ago, thanking mothers and ended with "I'm not going to talk too long because I know you don't want to hear a long winded speech and I've also got a date with Mr. Bud Weiser"
I saw him in Ruffinos bar about 2 hours later and he was hammered.
Gotta love Kip.

I told this story on the poliboard thread for this but I'll tell it again here. Circa 08 I met him at the wine loft and he was a lot of fun and talked to us. I get my tab and there are some drinks on there I did not order and come to find out he had the bartender put them on my tab. That cheap motherfricker was trying to get free drinks from a college student.

A ladyfriend of mine was working for a well known lobbyist at the Capital at the same time I was doing the same thing. She relayed a story to me.
They met at the ribbon-cutting of a well known-and now defunct-business opening for its newest location. While posing with this businesses signature product along with my ladyfriend for the cameras, someone suggested Kip bring the product up from his waistline to more prominently feature the product in photos.
Kip looked at my ladyfriend and mentioned to the group that if he lifted the product up from where it was, everyone would know how attractive my ladyfriend was.
I still laugh at that story...

Kip's a good guy, he was probably just trying to get a piece. Every good politician has loose morals, think about what they do for a living, it comes with the territory.

I've seen him at work in Tiger Stadium, placing himself right in front of the Golden Girls, staring at each one, eyes going up & down each body, openly, crudely. And he had a well deserved rap of crashing students' tailgating parties just to get up close & personal with all the young college coeds. And he was always sipping a freshly tapped brew. Classic freeloader & dirty old politician.
