“Happy Friday”

I’ll expect mass quantities of downvotes, but I need to know how alone I am on this/ how much of an a-hole I am. Anybody else find it sad and weak when people in a workplace wish each other a “Happy Friday”? I feel sorry for the person when they say it. I get that Friday can be better than most days, but to walk around all week just waiting for the days to pass strikes me as a loser mentality.

I don’t live to work. I work because I have to like everybody else. Let’s just get the work done and not wallow in misery all week then act like we are getting a victory on Friday. It is what it is.
