Anyone know the neighborhood/street where the older couple they interviewed is located? I'm guessing Livingston or Central. Looks like houses were 1970s/1980s ranches.

Imo, the majority of people here aren't looking for a handout. They just want to know what they need to do as far as FEMA assistance (temp housing, rebuilding help, etc). No one is sitting on their roofs with HELP written in shoe polish. Cost-wise, this will be Katrina-like, but the water didn't sit here and fester for weeks. People are already gutting their houses.

Now they get to deal with insurance companies, FEMA, contractors, and contractor fraud. Good times.

Sorry, I didn't see your post.

I have 3 good friends that lost everything they own in Central. Central was hit very hard. I'm not sure why people are mad that he is in Central?

Does everyone think every politician should go to NBR?
