Hacked at recipe app

Used my Allrecipes app on my phone to cook a pie for supper. I've made this dish once before and it was great. fricking app messed up the amount of flour and milk. Website recipe has it listed correctly at 1/3cup flour instead of the 2 cups on the app. had to had throw out everything halfway through cooking and start over once it became apparent something was frickeryed.

not to be a bitch, but you did make this before... and if a recipe tells you to put in something weird, you can kinda tell just from reading it. maybe you were just busy and wanted a tasty dinner, and maybe you don't cook a lot?

Your kinda right. I did a double take at the amount of flour but checked and rechecked my phone which of course incorrectly said 2cups. Use the app a lot and never had any issue like this. Don't think I can trust the app anymore though. No telling if it will go to shite again and screw up another meal.

if I'm making something from a new recipe, I usually find 3 similar ones and blend them according to taste and/or what I have in the house... also, it helps highlight which measurements might have a better result.
