gun board: $500 dollar ar-15

if anyone wants a $500 dollar ar15 this is how you do it:

LINK
upper for about 350 with shipping

this guy carries the complete plum crazy lower for 150 out the door for louisiana. if you arent in louisiana you should be able to get your local gunshop or ffl to still get it for you for a similar price.

LINK
this is exactly what the gun would look like, minus the scope.

Friend built me one after the storm. Paid about that. I'd have to unpack it to see what it looks like. Still haven't put a round through it.

I dont care what you would rather. I have 4 ak's and I would rather the ak also. that doesnt mean that this isnt a pretty good deal, and I guarantee you wont find a cheaper ar15 setup than this.

if someone wants a cheap ak they can get the ak47 from classic arms for 350, or they could get the ak74 from centerfire systems for 369

Same site has a DPMS lower for $190.

the plum crazy lower that I linked has everything, stock and all. plus you wouldnt have to pay shipping or trasnfer fee. 150 out the door. you wont find a cheaper complete lower than that.

actually now the craze is over ive seen striped lowers well under 100 and you can get a LPK for 50 or less. so you can find one cheaper.

350 to 800
500 bucks would get you one that is made (put together) right and with nice finish.

but for 350 you can stain the wood yourself and may get lucky with straight sights. For the $$ this is not a bad deal.

that lower is probably shite and the rollmark is fricking ugly. i built my AR for about $500 with a Rock River Arms upper, Mega Machine lower, CMMG lpk and magpul furniture. and as far as the AK goes the cabelas is more than i paid but actually not bad (for a WASR) compared to the internet once you factor in shipping, transfer fee and pain in the ass.

Learn to shoot. They are not Sniper rifles so get over the myth that is passed around the interwebs.

Hitting metal plates at a 100 yards will do the trick. Want to hit quarters get a bolt action with a scope and have fun.

Well the cheap upper is the key to the whole deal and the reason I went ahead and built it. It belonged to one of my dads friends who had bought it for another build a while back. he slapped it on one of his other lowers to test it out, but that's about all the shooting it saw. he sold it to me for $250.

here it is right after i built it, put an Eotech on it a couple days later.
