I'm an Orange Beach guy myself.

What about you? What do you like and don't like about each area?

What I like best about 30A is that it is full of people who prefer 30A.

Orange Beach for a long weekend. 30A for a week long trip.

Perdido because it's a 3hr trip. 30A is full of people who want you to know they're on the 30A

Florabama>>>>every bar on 30A

I honestly have never heard of 30A until I read it on here a few months ago. What town is it actually?

The crowds in Gulf Shores are ridiculous.

I'll take Perdido for the quiet and Pensacola for the water.

I'm a Pensacola Beach guy, but I enjoy most beach towns in the panhandle. I'd rather go there than Gulf Shores or Orange Beach.

30A is a road between destin and panama city that used to be a quiet little sleepy road with quaint beach towns and no high rises. But the masses have found 30A and it is now very crowded and not anywhere like what it used to be. There are still a few quiet pockets on the road if you know where to look.

seaside is a nightmare now. standstill traffic all day long and way too many people.

Orange Beach guy myself. Family has a condo down there. Walking distance to the Florabama which always helps. Over the past 10 years OB has really come a long way. The dinning experience is top notch with places like Fishers and Cayman Grill. Plus with The Hangout, Lulu's and the Wharf, there are plenty of things to do with the kids where adults can still have fun.

To add to it, it only took me 3.5 hours to get back to BR on Sunday with the new express

I'm not real familiar with 30A either, although I see stickers all over people's vehicles. Must be a Yeti-type thing?

I've always wondered if there was an awesome bar in Destin. FloraBama is so much fun.

Dude. I'm a 30A family guy. If I wanted to take my family to a place full of young drunk sluts in bikinis running around with their perfect breasts bouncing about all up in my face, and their golden brown skin barely contained under their Brazilian cut bikinis I'll tell you.

Somewhat, nearly every sorority girl at LSU has their 30A sticker on their whip

Here's a map

Does anyone remember who said Destin was too trashy for little kids?

Good summary. I have been to 30A (and never called it that) almost every year since i was 3 months old in 1978

The changes from then to now are amazing. I had never been to seaside until right before the truman show came out.
