Groomer Steals Money from NOLA Animal Rescue Organization to Pay Her Water Bill

I follow a lot of non-profit animal rescue organizations on FaceBook and just saw this story and it made me mad.

Limary A Guzman (also goes by Limary Lopez) used Animal Helper's bank account to pay her $267.39 New Orleans water bill. She is a local groomer. We're not sure how she got our account information as we don't know her. The bank said she probably worked someplace we wrote a check. Please spread the word. We are in the process of filing a police report & getting our funds back.
My biggest issue is she knows who Animal Helper is & still stole from us. We are told she was recently working at a local vet. Her profile says she works at Belladoggie but hasn't for a year as we've spoken to the management.

First: How could you knowingly steal from a non-profit rescue organization? One that's one of the smaller ones that fight for their donations as it is.

Second: Seriously, did she not think she was going to get caught? She paid the water bill with her name on it with the rescue organization's account information. (I assume she had a check from Animal House from a grooming and just used the routing number and account number).

Third: I know times get tough for some but this is really low.
