Great movie ride has been done for awhile. It was a walk up attraction. The Mickey theme is a bit of a head scratcher in the park. Hollywood is getting rethemed to Include StarWars and Toy Story and the entire park will be moving away from the studios layout. Just about everything will be replaced or rethemed over the next 2 years.

This reimagineering is something they can do on the cheap and quick. D23 is proving they are about to spend a shite ton of money so this is one they can save on. Basically just change out the props.
