My last iPhone I had to get the screen replaced 6 or 7 times. Right at a $100 for each new screen.
I finally figured it out the guy I was bringing it to was putting cheap arse screens on there. He was an African American.

i get really attached to the actual phone itself.
even if i’m just trading it in under warranty.

I go back and forth. The new iPhones are much safer than the old ones. The older ones you had to have a case since they shattered literally anytime you dropped it

I just don't like the way any of the phones feel without some kind of case.

Don’t get me wrong, the 10 is a better phone by an order of magnitude and I would never trade my 8+ for an SE, but for someone who doesn’t care about all the fancy new stuff, the SE is a great value.

I carry two phones. Personal and work. Personal has a case, work doesn't. They're both Galaxy's and cases on both make them too big together. That being said, the work Galaxy S7 is a slippery S.O.B. so I know I will drop it one day, but at least I won't have to pay for a replacement.

That’s me. Not a techie and the SE does all I want it to do (podcast, Browser, Uber, Spotify, text). Don’t need anything else.
