Got a rat living in my car...any suggestions?

The sumbitch has shite everywhere and tore up everything in my glove box (registration, insurance, etc.)
I've looked everywhere for it but can't find it.
Do you guys suggest some type of rat poison left in the glove box?

Serioulsy, though...check you engine for a nest. A guy I know had one in his engine and it caught fire and fricked the car up.
