Good place for a cabin getaway

within a couple hours of baton rouge? Looking for a Tunica type place that has a bed and basic amenities.

Chicot state park has 15 "deluxe" cabins for $120 a night. Sleep 8 with the sleeper sofa

Fireplace, dish network, full kitchen.

They're basically condos. And several of them are over the water

Id look into one of those

Get to Genoa, lots of empty cabins on the Costa Concordia.

These are nice. Most of the Louisiana state parks have nice deluxe cabins with those same amenities.

Did you see that show when they raised the ship off the rocks? Incredible. Cost $700 Million to salvage it

I'll bet this is it. And the "friend" is a guy. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but that might explain it.

Italy had to as the EU would have assessed them crazy stupid environmental fines if they'd done the Chinese/Indian (dot, not feather) Solution and just towed it off the rocks and into deeper water.

The total cost is going to exceed $2 Billion (US), Titan Salvage, Micoperi and Smit International all had a hand in it.
