That is a bright spot for sure. If it takes a good haircut, I'm going to be a buyer of more ranch land.

One of the top producing agents in the entire USA is actually here in Lake Charles. They are a friend of mine and on Friday she said prices have not dropped this rapidly since 2008. The market is dead.

And rates are rapidly increasing. We are in for another FC crisis like 2010.

I'm told by the OT real estate agents aren't needed and artificially inflate the housing market by 3 percent.

I feared LA would be hit hard on real estate prices. LA prices were way to hot for the underlying economy/jobs.

We sold our home in July and prices were already plummeting. We had 500 sqft more than our neighbor, they listed in June for 580 and sold for 615. We listed in July and sold for 535.

We had 6 offers, all were cash. You can tell the market is changing quickly.

Naw. That's what you baws refer to as a New Iberia haircut. I don't want to buy land there. Hell, I'm not exactly sure where it even is.

I'd be in better shape to buy improved pasture if the Texans would quit trying to buy land north of the Red.

And there's been an explosion of Chinese outfits buying up land for marijuana farms here.

Rates have definitely started to impact the lower end of the market with first time homebuyers feeling it the worst.

The upper end, with cash, could benefit. This could be a good time to buy properties for investment or even second homes where the seller needs to unload.

Watch the foreclosure market

Wut? Doesn't seem like it was plummeting if you had 6 cash offers.

Also you didn't disclose what you listed your house for baw.

Remember when all the dumbasses here said prices wouldn’t fall

Despite record inflation and rising interest rates. I swear some people are so oblivious to what is staring them right in the face.

I hope Florida condos crash back to pre-Covid. Prices are ridiculous.

Depends on the market too. North Dallas prices have started to steady, but not drop.

In my observations, it still seems spotty.

A house a few down from mine went on the market last week at $999,000 and was pending within 3 days I think. This is in Mandeville.
