It does what I need a phone to do and I know how to operate it. As long as iPhones are available I'll never own another phone.

As a former iPhone user I prefer that over my Android.

Iphone is very user friendly.

can those fancy samsung and android phones do airplay, or is there an app to simulate airplay? the majority of my music played on my stereo comes from an iphone or ipad via airplay.

Actually a lot of features that the iPhone 6 have were copied from the Galaxy S5. In fact I think Samsung filed a lawsuit against Apple regarding that.

regarding your tech board thread, you need a docsis 3.0 modem and N router. I just went through the same upgrade recently.

Didn't join but I'm going to try it out next week. I'm not too thrilled so far though. I talked to some salesperson that told me she didn't like to discuss pricing over the phone b/c she didn't want to scare people away. Really?

I don't know what model you have so I'm not sure. With each new iPhone release they incorporate a few more features that Android phones already had.
