I don't even know when Mardi Gras is anymore. 
Even when I lived in LA, Mardi Gras wasn't that big a deal to me anyways.

Why you shaking your head? I just wasn't raised in a home that did anything for Mardi Gras. Hell I've only been to MG in NOLA like maybe 3 times in my life(all when I was an adult...parents forbade us going there as kids). And only been to Spanish town parade once I think.
My extent of celebrating Mardi Gras when I lived in BR was eating king cake

I mean...I don't hate MG or anything...it just doesn't hold any big significance to me that is all. And when you no longer live in LA...very easy to forget about it. Most people outside of LA don't care about MG.

IKR....MSY expects only 200,000 people to fly in and out specifically for Mardi Gras during the 7 day period....and over 1 million people flock to the city for Mardi Gras...thats a huge economic impact...I can live with you and Aspy not liking Mardi Gras...it doesnt change anything.
