Fresh Pickens (sounds like a booger place, right?) on Coursey across from Home Depot. Unusually ready by 10:30 am.

Skillz

They are 10x better when you boil them yourself. You can adjust the spices to your liking.

The last batch we did was small. I have a pot that covers two burners on the stove. Worked great.

Yes! And seasoning.

Delicious

Cook now and enjoy next weekend also. I love peanuts and football.

See! You do have some redeeming qualities.

Well the boat is in the water. Gassed up. So it's easy just to hop on go.

You got a recipe link for good boilt peanuts?

I thought salt was all you needed?

I use powder and liquid crab boil. To taste. Boil about an hour and 45 min. Let soak a while. Eat.

Maybe a quarter of a bag and then a whole tiny bottle of boil?

That sounds a lot better than the ones we tried to make two years ago.

We had to throw them away Even the dog wouldn't eat them.

ETA: ya don't drink all week then have a few(ie lot) margaritas on Friday. Doesn't make for a good Saturday am. Jus sayin.

It's not "cajuning"
A peanut is a soft vehicle just waiting to be flavored. Why would you deny him the cayenne and deeper seasonings held in crab boil?

He's just like his cousin the mushroom. Would you eat him only in salt?
Sometimes crab boil just makes more sense.

salt and a lil butter are all you need for mushrooms. me mum used to cook those for sunday dinner along with a roast, yorkshire pudding, green peas & rice n gravy.

that was the best meal ever. and btw, i'm an incredible crawfish eater. i can suck the tail meat out and squeeze the head juice in my mouth about 5 or more times before most people can eat 1 crawfish.
