hopefully yall are safely evacuated. Your house and belongings can be replaced. Lives can't. My hard headed brother left this morning, thankfully.

Running a chainsaw makes my dick hard so I'm headed over there Thursday evening/Friday morning if possible. There's a lot of good folks on this board capable of helping so consider showing up if you can.

Cat 4 prediction will push a lot of water deep inland, with how low LC is. Schools have closed, and gas stations are running out of regular gas in North Houston, but I think we are looking at a glancing blow.

This, I know there are people evacuating from the coast, rightfully so, but why not fill up when you leave the house?

My first cousin & his family made the call to get out of Orange, TX this AM at 4am....They aren't chancing this. Looking like another monster is about to pummel that area, sadly. They've been through an awful lot, in the past 15 years....

Yeah this is gonna be a bad one. Barrelling in as it is.
Get out while you can or stay & be prepared.
I remember Cameron got nearly wiped off the map in Rita. Looks like another hit coming.

Have a few cases of water, food, batteries etc. There will likely be tree's down at my brothers and a few of my friend's parent's houses. I'm from the area, went through Rita there.

Same here. The April tornadoes kinda killed that for me though. After running a chainsaw for a week straight, I woke up one morning unable to close my hands. Had to take a couple of days off and ice them down good before I could go again. Be careful bros.

I got back to Sulphur the day after Rita hit and had to cut through trees to get to our house. That sucked and it was hot as hell.

The thing I remember best about it was trying to sleep in the heat. The neighbor was gone and had a pool, I slept on one of those big foam rubber pool float in his pool a couple nights until he got back.

Good luck to everyone down South of us. I’m in Shreveport and am kinda nervous about what it’s gonna be when it gets here. The eye is supposed to go through here not too far from the I20-I49 interchange and still have almost hurricane force winds.
