Golfers of OT - Driver Recommendation

After about a 15 year hiatus (only playing a few times a year) I am committing to my golf game again. Im hitting an old Great Big Bertha driver still and now it is time to replace it.
Im looking for advice on a new driver and a retailer where I can hit different ones. Keep in mind given how outdated my current driver is I am not necessarily looking for the hot driver of 2017 but perhaps something that has been deemed quality over the last few years that I can snag at a bit of a bargain. Thoughts?

Not enough info, like your swing speed.
Just look up My Golf Spy and find their driver tests from previous years. Plenty of info, and you'll see that many of the competing brands are within a few yards of each other in distance and accuracy. Nowadays, just pick one that is aesthetically pleasing to you.
If anything, you won't go wrong with a forgiving driver with the weight back, which every brand has.

New Epic Driver from Callaway getting rave reviews.

Need to find a head that works with the shots you like to hit along with giving you the best spin numbers in conjunction with the right shaft for you. At this point, the shaft is probably more important than the head. Callaway and Taylormade are legit.
Point being, get fit if you want to be happy in the long run.

My family employed a Hoke for years.

Something like the Nike Vapor driver would be a big improvement over the Bertha. Can be had on the cheap on eBay. I'd start there before shelling out $400 on a new taylormade or titleist.

You can get the new version of the Great Big Bertha for like $200 now. Will be a bigly upgrade for you.

I hit last years M1 driver and love it. This years M1 is getting the same reviews as last year. The GBB epic and epic sub zero are creating a lot of chatter right now.

OP, driver technology hasn't changed that drastically in the past 10 years. With the little info you've provided, I'd suggest buying a used head that suits your eye from the past 10 years, and get a shaft that fits your swing speed, spin, etc numbers.
I've had much better luck perusing eBay and buying older heads with upgraded shafts than trying any of the new stuff. But I am also more of a traditionalist that doesn't care for all the tricks and gimmicks of adjustability.

Cobra fly z is a great club and Cobras clubs are well discounted when the new models come out (fly z is an older model, like 3-4 years old)

Academy still has some old stock Nike Vapor drivers for $100 brand new. Only reason they're cheap is bc Nike quit making clubs, they are well received drivers.
ETA: Some Academy stores have them. Think most are sold out by now. Dealadaygolf.com also has brand new Cobra F6+ for $170ish.

I chose a ping G30 with ls tec to help reduce spin. Dropped to a reg shaft, getting old. Drive it further than ever.

I hit Titleist. But I've found that driver head didn't really matter to me. The shaft is what is most important. I can hit my friends TM,Callaway, just as good as long as shaft setup is extra stiff.
I love Titleist but I'm partial. Some people don't like them because there heads seem to be partly smaller but I'm able to generate more swing speed. I use 9.5 loft. I'd recommend trying to stay below 10 degree loft or you will lose distance hitting the ball in a upward trajectory.
