Can anybody recommend and good golf instructor in Baton Rouge? About how much do they run for an hour. Heard Edwin Watts and other places have indoor instructors, but would rather do it at a range. Also heard not to use the golf pro's at the driving ranges. Looking for someone local who would be good with a beginner.

I can't remember his name on here, but I think there is a poster on here that does lessons and supposedly has experience with people just starting out.

I assume his name is relative to Beaver Creek...but maybe he is just a really smooth guy?

BeaverPro is the assistant at BC. Heard he's good. I would look into it if I was the OP.

Henry Pointer at BREC. He was recommended to me. He is amazing. He's like 40-50 an hour i think. Been a while since i used him. Not sure which BREC Course he's at now.

George Johnson is based at Santa Maria. He has track-man golf technology and charges a fair rate. He should be on the short list of pros in this area.
