Nice, I like Loring Heights a lot. Waiting for the right house to come on market over there.

We liked it too, looked at several houses in the neighborhood before honing in on a different area.

I'd also add brewery tours down in Decatur. Wild Heaven, blue tarp, three taverns.
Wild Heaven has been my favorite beer tour so far. Great way to burn an hour or so

Used to live in Loring Heights and Collier Hills, so in general vicinity. Now live up towards Peachtree Battle/Moores Mill area. So still just up 75, but obviously a little more neighborhood-y.

When are you going to teach me how to fish the damn hooch? it's one humbling SOB.

Get ready for the DH, that should give you a confidence boost.

I just moved here about 7 months ago. Are any of you guys active in any LSU alumni stuff?

Been here almost two years and haven't attended an event. However, I have been out of town for most of them.

If you like craft beer, you can hit up 3 really good breweries all in a mile radius or so.

Agreed.

Northside Tavern is a hell of a dive bar that has live music (normally loud, dirty blues) and stays open late.

This is a great place.

No late night outing in Atlanta is complete without a trip to the Claremont Lounge. It's an Atlanta staple.

I'm an AU guy but I see a good number of LSU folks around. What are the LSU bars?

I hear ya. I think I'll check out a few LSU games at whatever bar they go to, if they do that here. Was always a great time in NYC.
