God, people are so sensitive and have no sense of humor

Was at the town park yesterday afternoon letting my youngest play on the swings and slides , just me and her , we don't do that much.
Anyway I'm sitting on the park bench watching her play and this young mom and her two boys show up. They go play she sits on the bench while her boys play, probably about 20 kids in the park total, parents scattered here and there watching them.
After about 10 minutes I am bored I look at the woman and say "your boys are really cute" (they were two cute little guys as most toddlers are) and she responds with "thanks , which one is yours?" as she points towards the kids. I look her in the eye and respond with " I haven't decided yet"
She literally tore the space time continuum as she grabbed her boys and got the hell out of there.
