Except it was built in a place no one wanted to go. I know several people who worked there and the crime was out of fricking control.

If you are about making good beer, you've got a good chance. No matter the location. I've driven 2+ hours to Parish for multiple releases. Their taproom/brewery is nothing special and that drive is pretty crappy. But people still show up and they appear to be doing well.

I've also travelled to different cities and made drives to breweries way outside the common parts.

Produce solid beer and people will show up. Even bum azz Courtyard is still open because he makes solid beer. Frick that dude.

There are exceptions. All Relation was fantastic. They were just unlucky opening in the city of NOLA right before COVID. I would have visited them if they opened in the East. Now, Dixie (Faubourg), not a freaking chance

1. Bought a shite beer brand
2. Work to try to marry it into the city and it's image.
3. Start making a sliver of headway.
4. Change the name. Of a beer called Dixie for over 100+ years.
5. Who gives a frick. It's over. You fricked it all up. The entire thing is finished and everybody on planet earth knows it.
6. Go out of business - predictably.

Give me the trademark. I'll turn it around. We're going back to Dixie and we're making it taste like Miller and gonna rake in the dough.

That few blocks off the high-rise on the way there are sketchy looking as frick in person. Like horror movie sketchy.

That’s all well and good until your windows get busted out….in the parking lot…..on the regular. Can’t imagine it was easy to hire people to work there either.

I drank it in the 90’s for nostalgia. Started drinking it again after Benson got involved and they changed the recipe. Thought it was every bit as good as Bud and Miller. At my watering hole it was the go to for a lot of people. But when then name got dropped no one purchased it in the bar again, and with in a week they stopped offering it. She pissed off her customer base just like Budweiser did. Sad

To be fair, it is from a leftist indi source, the kind that would break its neck to deflect from the truth about Norleans. Not saying it’s lies, but there’s a lot of ways to distort things subtlety.
