Morning OT!

Fish, I spent part of last night in the OB banging my head that it's not even feasible for me to think of coming to the Pirogue Party. I would give anything to have something like that made by my own hands. Very, very cool you have that skill....

On a scale of 1-10 with 1 very easy, I would give it a 5 if a person can work with power tools and hand tools and knows a little of wood working.

I will be posting full progress/instructions for those that want to learn that can't make it.

Something I learn when I was around 8 years old. Boat building was big in my Dad's family. Was a way of life till fiberglass came out. Hell, I'm 56 years old now and built well over 100 pirouges over the years.

Some buddies of mine pulled an old indian (I'm assuming) pirogue out of the mud in Pearl River. The bottom end broke off when they were pulling it out but most of it was still very much intact. You could see where they cut the tree trunk directly down the center and carved out the canoe. I wish I had a picture of it, its pretty awesome

Not to bad.

,compared to your other trips to the Doctor?

Weekly trip to the local hospital for the day. No doctor, but nurses make a full report to the transplant team doctors. Got a call from them after I got home and they were not happy campers. I fight very low potassium and magnesium every day which can kill you in a heart beat. So I have to take a shite load of both and adjust that every day. Just part of heart failure.

Good news was they only stabbed me 4 times yesterday.
