Went on a morning hike by myself that was very peaceful.
Brunch with mimosas with my aunt.
Went and got cupcakes from best cupcake place ever.
Got my free starbucks for it being my bday.
Dinner with husband then went to another restaurant to have dessert(place has the BEST butter cake I've ever had).
Just a good day. He got me nice seats for Phantom of the Opera when they come here in May as a bday present.

Yeah I'm old now, gone are the bdays where I want to go crazy at the clubs and drink heavily and dance all night.
ETA: Plus it was on a Tuesday and I had to work part of the weekend before it.

I dont go often, but the place near me has a great deal on Tuesday. Cheap and good Texas beers for $2.50 or $3 and buy one taco get one half off. Good fajita type tacos. I had dinner and 3 beers on my tab for $17. One of those beers was a yellow rose which is considered one of the best ipa's in the state by many. Not bad at all.

I was picking all the leaves and pine straw out of a little raised bed on my back patio and I guess my head was bent down a long time and I got a little light headed.
I had an epiphany.I think.Something about the way I'm supposed to live the rest of my life.Wish I could remember it.

Place we went to for dessert is a pretty pricey steakhouse here(dinner for two is about $200-300). We had gone in the past for our anniversary. Just wanted to go and sit in bar area for drinks and butter cake last night. Server still comped our dessert(which is like $17) because it was my bday. So our tab was only for my one drink(husband drinking water since he drove). Wasn't expecting to get free dessert(esp since we sat in bar area and told her we were only there for drinks and cake).
