Thanks!

It was a ballet with all Balanchine acts. Last one was a western ballet.....some moron in the section behind us actually yelled out "yee haw!" during the installment/act/set whatever it's called

they reference as the ballet is actually the strip club

We called Platinum Plus the Mt Moriah Center for the Performing Arts back in the day. That, or The Shoe Show. It was better than any real ballet or opera though. RIP

You never use internet?

I didn't get cable at my apartment.

I do use internet, netflix, amazon prime instant, and watchespn for all my tv use.

I do have cable in Baton Rouge though. There was no way I was paying for two cable packages.

My cable is subsidized through the rent. So I went from $98.99 a mo/ with standard TV. To No internet and added HBO for $38.99.

So I saved $60 just by cutting that out. I'm always TD'ing on my phone though. Unlimited data through TMobile and this phone is as big as an ipad it seems.

Also, I can tether up to 5GB a month for free on Tmobile, in case I really need to update something on PS3 or whatever.

And no, I never Netflix or Hulu. I canceled both of them too. I do have Amazon Prime.

So I saved like $80-$90 a month just by cutting out easy things I don't use.

That makes sense. The subsidized cable makes it worth it. I also can't data like that cause ATT would not be cool with that.

Amazon Prime really has done pretty good with their instant video streaming.

It's just stupid stuff I'm tired of wasting money on. I'm ready to build wealth and get out of debt.

I'm 28. So I have a solid 37 years until retirement.

I feel so damn lucky that I was able to pay for college out of pocket. LSU really is a pretty incredible value, especially with TOPS for first 4 years.

I don't know how much longer it will hold up, but it really is amazing. Makes it really hard to want to go OOS when LSU has so much going for it plus free tuition.

That is a financial relief I'm sure.

I feel for parents these days who have to try and pay for some of these schools or open up their child to debt. I would love to pay for my childs undergrad, but at the prices some of them are, that would be tough.

As far as experience I say it is pretty solid for an in-state student. Getting to go to school for free is pretty awesome. I know it's not a top 10 school by "rankings" but you can get whatever you want out of school.

Could easily get a very good job right out of LSU and have 0 debt.
