I grew up in a family construction business in Georgia LCA. From the time I was old enough to crawl over the tailgate of my grandfather's truck I would go to work with him.

I never worried about falling, no fear of heights at all. I was even an ironworker for a while. Well guess what?

After being on construction sites for 30 years I finally fell...about 15 feet onto a concrete slab of a school we were building. It hurt like hell. Honest to God about 3 months later I had an extension ladder kick out on me and I fell 2 stories and landed ON THE FRICKING LADDER. I could feel where every rung of that ladder hit my body. That really hurt.

Moral of the story is you never know when that accident is coming so definitely plan ahead for it to prevent it.

Be careful LCA.

Heights don't bother me either and falling is always there so I try to pay attention. I have noticed since I turned 90 my balance is not as good. It is just handling something awkward with other guys that makes it sketch. Plus the house is on the market for just under 1 million so everything there is nice...If if goes as expected, I will still net about 125/hr. cash...

I can do this...

Yeah you'll be fine. You'll feel a lot better once you install it. Did you build the window or order it?

Ordered it...Kind of odd. This sash went in from the inside...most are from the O/S these days...Makes it a little harder since I have to set up in the foyer and not the porch...If it falls outside I would just have a mess but on the inside I will lose my arse...

Yeah most have an exterior nailing flange.

That is odd.

Eta: new construction windows anyway.

My kids are excited to see it. We saw the last Star Wars movie together and had to sit in the front row.

This is a fixed sash, but most of the time the removable stop is on the O/S...oh well...If it was easy then Thomasthetiger would have been called instead of LCA...

hahahah, Thomas.

I want to see Patriot's Day. I think I'll have to go up to Boston and catch the early release.

Hello LCA.
There is quite a difference in your version and mine, of window shopping. Hope the job is not too big of a pane.
