I've had that one.About 5 years ago.That is torture.Stick pins in your toes and hook wires to them.If I hadn't been on so much Morphine at the time I would have probably got pissed. 
This one isn't that bad.It's not pleasurable by any means,but not torture.

We were closed Monday so now I'm on a 48 hour shift too if you count time at home eating, watching TV and sleeping

When I had that one they had me strip down to my boxers and wear a gown. I had sweat coming out of every pore on my body. Boxers soaked, gown soaked. I think I ground about a quarter inch off my teeth.
I was so relieved when they brought out new equipment the last time and it wasn't anywhere near as bad.
That first one was before I was getting any type of pain meds.

What surgery were you having done? Nerve blocks are primarily to control post op pain. They do decrease anesthesia requirements during surgery but you usually still have a general anesthetic.

Screw in right scaphoid. Shaun White and I were heli boarding and he slipped. When I caught his ankle my wrist snapped.
Not really, I was hauling arse learning on the bunny slope and busted. Two surgeries and a dozen casts later I'm good to do pushups, as long as they are on my knuckles.

It's my Pain Management Doctor doing these Tests on me.Got to jump through some hoops.
Pain Management Doctors are getting shut down around here left and right.
I overheard the ladies behind the desk talking about patients that are coming from those Doctors.They're used to being over-prescribed.Not anymore.
