Which do you prefer for a truck that needs to pull a camper ? Got ran over by a garbage truck and I’m spending my settlement money on a 2500 and a camper lol

Lol like there's going to be so many fanboys here that like your just gonna have to choose whichever one you like the most lol.

The inline Cummins 6cl will never be outpulled, is it fast and peppy? NO

if you want fast and peppy and semi cool tech then the V-style duramax and 6.7 powerstroke are what you want.

As for towing: fords arse end is soft. From my experience duramax will run higher Temps while towing heavy

Any of the big three diesels will pull it.

I was a dodge guy for ever but switched to F-250 in 2017.

The GMC dealer near me is awesome. The Chevy and Ford dealers suck.

So…GMC.

Neighbor with a brand new dodge 4wd just pulled his 5th to Colorado and back and averaged 14.5mpgs

Don't think you'll beat thar and his truck is beautiful. Crawled all in it and under it. Looks impressive. Rear suspension with the airbags is nice from stock.

If I was buying a diesel it'd be the RAM no question

In this particular situation, you sound like a RAM guy.

Except for when my turbo went out and they told me they couldn’t get a replacement.

I pull mine with a GMC. Pulls great. Spent 10k replacing fuel system after the fuel pump exploded. Other than that, it’s been great. I hate all current offerings though. I’ll keep my 15 Denali 2500 til it becomes a classic.

Ram Limited is an awesome truck. But make sure you get the 3.92 rear if you want to pull anything. They sell their trucks with a tow package that can come equipped with a 3.21 and you definitely don't want that if you want to tow a camper.

How big of a camper?

I had nothing but GMC/Chevy until recently. Ram is the best truck for 2023.

Unless you want a gas truck, go with a SRW 3500 with rear air suspension. The Cummins eats up payload quickly. The 2500 will ride nicer, but payload with the diesel sucks for a 3/4 ton truck.

How heavy is the camper? This one weighs 1210;bs., you can load it up, and pull it with a small pickup. The table also turns into a king bed.

Like my 2017 6.7 Diesel Ford. Have hauled 20K loads with little or no effort.
