Has anyone ever received an email requesting they join GLG as a paid expert? I just received a request today and was wondering how legitimate this is.

They're legit. I do a few a week.
ETA depending on who you work for GLG won't talk to you once they figure it out. They're legit enough that a lot of big companies have told them not to talk to their employees.

GLG is a legit expert network company. Used by lots of private equity firms and other investors.

There are a couple of GLG 20s that you need to talk to.

I do 10-15 a week. They're all very different depending on the scope and knowledge level of the interviewer.
