Girl stabbed multiple times during school fight at Hammond High

HAMMOND, La. — A girl is in custody on Monday after she allegedly stabbed another female student multiple times during a fight in the bathroom of Hammond High School earlier in the day.
According to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office, the fight occurred shortly before 10:30 a.m.
The victim was hospitalized with at least three stab wounds to her upper extremities.
The injuries are said to be non-life-threatening wounds and she is listed in stable condition.
After the altercation, Sheriff Daniel Edwards said the juvenile assailant was found possessing a small foldable "key-knife."
The offending student was booked into Florida Parish Juvenile Detention Center and will be charged with Aggravated Second Degree Battery.

Had a friend who got divorced and moved kid from Livingston Parish public schools to Hammond’s finest. Ended up sharing a house out there with the ex while she dated someone else but whatever. Anyway, kid started as an academically-excellent female attending Hammond schools before deciding she was a drug dealing male.

Sounds like a lot more going on there than just the school to blame.

No one lost their life and they have the suspect.
Also, during all of this ruckus no teachers fricked any students, so we have a small win today.
